Ministry cancels Tue OFZ bond auctions over market volatility

MOSCOW, Feb 21 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Finance Ministry has cancelled Tuesday’s auctions of OFZ government bonds due to high market volatility, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.

“Due to increased volatility on the financial markets, the Finance Ministry informs that it will not hold OFZ auctions on February 22, 2022 to help stabilize the market,” the ministry said.

Last week the ministry canceled the OFZ auction due to market volatility as well.
